About the Artist, Judith Schaechter, a Philadelphia-based artist, has work in major museums including The Met (New York City), the Smithsonian Institution’s Renwick Gallery (Washington D.C.), the V&A (London, England), and the Hermitage (St. Petersburg, Russia). A Guggenheim Fellow and 2002 Whitney Biennial participant, she received lifetime and visionary honors from the Glass Art Society and the Smithsonian.
